 It's not the Destination, it's the Journey
Theme for 2010/2011

Faith is a journey, and as pilgrims we are all at different points.  Our Jr. High students are at a place in their faith journey that calls for a new path.  Our "GEN 1" Youth Ministry program serves as a transition from one road to another.  Our 7th & 8th grade students are moving from the Religious Education Program that they have traveled through during their younger years to the faith formation program that they will follow through High School.  On this next leg of their Journey we will learn about Christian and Catholic traditions, as well as a deeper focus on what it means to have a personal relationship with our Lord.

Jr. High Program Outline

We will continue to meet on Monday evenings.  Beginning in September we will meet from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with dinner served at 6:30 pm.    

Living our Faith is different than knowing the Faith.  Our goal is to provide evenings that will help our 7th and 8th grade parishioners experience both.  The program includes the use of doctrine, faith sharing, drama, music, movies, games, service, activities and conversation to help our young people bring their faith into their daily lives.

Yearly registration is necessary for ALL youth ministry programs.  Please download and print the registration form from the link below.  Fill out the registration, time and talent survey and return to the youth ministry office with the appropriate fee.

We recently have had some parents join us for a Monday night supporting the program with preparing dinner and hosting the food from 6:00-6:30 pm.
