What is the Visions Leadership Team?
In the past year we have had many young and old alike, support the many programs that are offered at OLQA Youth! These people like you and I are living and breathing examples of God's love in our community. These volunteers are the backbone of the current program today, and in the future. As this program grows so does the need! Your voice and thoughts are needed to make the Youth Programs better! Not just Good, as Fr. Dave says "don't let good get in the way of best"! That is what we are striving for, and with you we are confident that we can get there.
Who is Visions Leadership Team?
Visions as it stands is made up of over 25 young and old volunter lay and clergy that are working in any of the many programs for youth at OLQA; Confirmation, Jr. high, Mini-ministries, Retreats, parish council, Liturgy, and much more! They are giving countless and thankless hours to make a home for our youth and to challaenge them to a life of Gospel Values. Your voice and time is needed to keep the programs alive and growing.
What is the Need?
The plain and simple answer is YOU! We are actively seeking new members to join the newly founded visions team in youth Minsitry. TIme and Talent; we all have it, but we somtimes feel that it doesn't belong to our youth. Well, your time and talent doesn't belong to you either. The very core of our creation is for the glory of God, and what we have we are called to give away. This time and talent can be as simple as your prayers for our youth in sacrament or as involved as spending the weekend in devotion with teens on retreat for three days!
Visions is not just service, or giving; but it is receiving the graces of God in your life through those that are in need of your efforts. Visions Leadership is a community and a support system that grows together and shares the joys and glory of serving God's young and young at heart.
